Recently we had an opportunity to make a Birthday Cake for our friend. It was a Harry Potter themed party so we had to put our heads together. So we made a three tier cake. The bottom tier was made up of the 4 colors of houses from Hogwarts. The middle round tier was made to look like books. So we made different names for the books to match Harry Potter and Hogwarts. The top tier had the Harry Potter and Hogwarts Logos on it, with the Golden Snitch on top. There were 4 flavors for the whole cake. Flavors were Bottom was Chocolate with Butter creme frosting, the middle tier was pumpkin spice cake and white chocolate raspberry field cake. The top tier was a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. The entire cake was covered in fondant.

We are making a Unicorn Birthday cake with a smash cake to go with it. This is for a little girls 2nd birthday party. We are excited as this is our very first order this year. 
-The Smash cake is a 4 inch chocolate cake with buttercream frosting and food coloring powder brushed on the outside. 

-The Unicorn cake is a bit tricky. Its a 2 tier cake. The top is a 6 inch marble cake with a buttercream filling. It has a fondant Unicorn Horn and ears painted with gold dust. The outside has white buttercream frosting and the eyes and lashes are made out of  black decorating chocolate melts. The mane is made from colored buttercream frosting with edible pearls in the middle of the swirls. 
-Now the bottom tier is an 8inch party cake with butter cream frosting in the middle. The Unicorns mane is flowing down to the 2nd tier and it is brushed with the food coloring powder for a cool watercolor look. 

This cake has taken some long deliberations as how to go about building it. We are super excited to be doing this order and can't wait for the reactions of the buyer and their family.
